When Van Berkel Studios opened its doors in 2001, as a portrait studio, a great adventure was set in motion. Originally Judy’s education was based in outdoor photography but she soon found her love of photography was centered around people more so than places. After a few portrait sessions she quickly fell in love with not only the art but with the people.

Our goal is that a portrait should be more than a picture you simply hang on the wall. It should leave you with a feeling of warmth and love, bringing a smile to your face every time you view it.
